  There aren't enough stars available to say how amazing Margan is. On Friday my husband and I were blessed enough to have our wedding at this unreal venue. In the lead up I experienced the smoothest planning process ever because Jess took care of everything. The day before and on the day of Jess and Eliza cared so much about my special day they did literally anything to make sure it was to be perfect, when my florist stuffed up they went above and beyond to try and find a back up plan and honestly were more stressed about my day than I was. You cannot pay for this kind of service. Their dedication and genuine care for you is heart warming. I will never forget how these ladies made me feel on my day and my husband never will either. Today we went for lunch and once again every team member at margan made us feel like we were so special and we had the most unbelievable meal to finish off the weekend. More than just excellent food and wine the beautiful people of this winery make it my favourite destination. I feel so sad knowing it could be awhile before Tom and I make it back but know when we do once again we will be welcomed with those warm smiles and of course the award winning wine and food which just make margan the absolute package.

  Exceptional service combined with a great space and views. The food was great with amazing fresh produce. Wine list offers a choice between their own wines at cellar door prices and a curated international wine list by the winemaker with an excellent selection.

  Beautiful wines. Dining outside is a lot nicer than sitting inside. Food is beautiful. Love walking around the grounds and seeing the big chickens! Great to have the local produce on sale as well. Great house bread, cured butter.

  Delicious wine, they specialise in Italian varieties. Worth extra half an hour drive from main cellar doors. One of the most beautiful property in the Hunter Valley- you fell like you are in Tuscany over there!

  The perfect way to finish a girls weekend away in the Hunter. We couldn't get in until the 2pm sitting but it was well worth it. Whilst others may have been in traffic on the way back to Sydney, we enjoyed the delicious two course meal which was so sublime we ate the garnishes. The experience was made even more memorable by the very friendly staff who made it feel like we were having a long lunch at someone's home. Highly recommended for any occasion (and we managed to make it home by 7pm).
